Goumikids is a Beaverton company that creates cute, yet functional, earth-friendly clothing for babies and young kids. The company was founded in 2011 by Lili Yeo and Linsey Ebuen.

From mittens that prevent babies from scratching themselves, to the cutest booties you could possibly want, Goumikids offers wearables that are breathable, natural, made from sustainable materials, and feature patterns that stimulate a baby’s brain development.

From humble beginnings, Goumikids quickly grew into a lucrative ecommerce retailer. In just five years, the online retailer does over $1 million in annual sales. This sales growth helped the company attract outside investors, including Elevate Capital, who invested $400K in 2016 and $600K in 2018.

Enter The Shark Tank

In an episode that aired last Friday, Goumikids convinced sharks Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner and Daymond John that Goumikids is a winning idea. The company’s sales have spiked since the show aired.

CEO Lili Yeo said the Shark Tank investment money will be used to scale up operations and expand Goumikid’s product line.

Even though the company has so far been not affected by the recent pandemic, Yeo wants to give a percentage of recent sales to Covid-19 Coronavirus relief efforts.

Goumikids Future

The future looks bright for Goumikids, as their sales and brand recognition continue to grow. As they continue to establish themselves as a top brand in organic baby clothing, you can find their wares in more brick and mortar type retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.

As their online Amazon reviews can attest, Goumikids has found strong advocates in their customers, who rave about the style and functionality of their wearables.
